Gas Booster
MPS Technology Gas Boosters are pneumatic pressure intensifiers designed for the transfer and compression of technical gases such as oxygen, nitrogen, helium, argon, hydrogen, and other compatible gases. Thanks to the wide range of available configurations, each model can be selected according to inlet pressure, required final pressure, and flow rate requirements.
The different versions are distinguished by their compression ratio, displacement volume, and maximum achievable pressure, allowing the system performance to be optimized for specific operating conditions. This extensive product range covers applications from cylinder filling and gas storage systems to industrial processes, pressure testing, and specialized pure-gas applications.
To ensure maximum flexibility and compatibility with different operating environments and gas characteristics, selected models are available in two construction versions:
- Polymer Version (P): lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and ideal for applications requiring reduced weight, high resistance to external agents, and easy handling.
- Alluminium Version (A): robust construction with excellent mechanical strength, particularly suitable for demanding industrial applications and permanent installations.
The availability of both P and A versions allows users to choose the most suitable solution according to gas compatibility, environmental conditions, and operational requirements, while maintaining the high standards of safety, reliability, and ease of maintenance that distinguish all MPS Technology Gas Boosters.

TANDEM 6KPRO Line
The unit is built to receive nitrogen in inlet pressure from standard industrial cylinders starting from a minimum pressure of 30 Bar / 435 Psi up to 414 Bar / 6000 Psi to bring it under pressure to 414 Bar / 6000 Psi passing through a pressure switch that gives the possibility to regulate the switching off of the Booster at even lower pressures. Exceeding the maximum pressure is prevented by a proportional relief valve positioned on the gas outlet connection.
Air Piloting System
The 1/2 BSP inlet fitting is provided for air piloting. The inlet air pressure should be up to 10 Bar. The inlet pressure should be approximately 1/60 of the desired maximum nitrogen outlet pressure.
Outlet Pressure Control
The system, component 01, will automatically start working when the ball valve, component 04, is open. With the ball valve, component 04, it is also possible to manage the working speed. The system, component 01, will transfer nitrogen under pressure to the accumulator connected to the gas outlet of the system up to a maximum of 414 Bar.
The pneumatic pressure switch, component 08, allows to control the maximum outlet pressure regardless of the inlet pilot pressure. The maximum pressure preset in production is 414 Bar, but it can be modify, if necessary, between 100 Bar and 414 Bar, by unlocking the ring nut (08B) that blocks the knob (08A) and screwing it to increase or unscrewing to decrease the shutdown value of the Booster.

Mixer
Advanced Gas Mixing Solutions for Diving and Industrial Applications
Over the years, the growing demand for Nitrox, Trimix, and other breathing gas mixtures has driven the development of more efficient and reliable gas blending technologies.
Traditionally, diving centers prepare these mixtures using the partial pressure blending method. Although widely used, this process requires oxygen-clean cylinders, careful measurement of each gas before topping up with air, and efficient management of expensive gases such as oxygen and helium. In addition, maximizing the use of high-value gas cylinders can be challenging unless multiple pure gas supplies are available and cylinders are filled only when nearly empty.
To overcome these limitations, MPS developed its patented Static Gas Mixing System (Patent No. ITUD20020057A1).
Unlike conventional blending methods, the MPS system prepares the required gas mixture at low pressure, before the compressor intake. The mixture is instantly homogenized by the static mixer, allowing immediate use after a final gas analysis without requiring additional mixing time.
For oil-lubricated compressors, the oxygen concentration should not exceed 40% O₂.
Why Choose MPS?
MPS designs and manufactures high-quality gas mixers and gas dosing systems for two or more gases, specifically engineered for high flow rates and rapidly changing gas demands.
Available for virtually all technical gases, including:
- Oxygen (O₂)
- Helium (He)
- Nitrogen (N₂)
- Carbon Dioxide (CO₂)
- Carbon Monoxide (CO)
- Compressed Air
- Argon (Ar)
Flexibility & Precision
Produce exactly the gas mixture you need, whenever and wherever you need it.
MPS gas mixers provide maximum flexibility in:
- Mixing ratios
- Gas flow rates
- Installation locations
Gas composition can be adjusted in seconds, making the system ideal for applications where gas requirements frequently change.
Cost Efficiency
Producing gas mixtures on demand significantly reduces operating costs.
Benefits include:
- Lower consumption of expensive gases
- Reduced storage requirements
- Elimination of pre-mixed gas inventories
- Simplified gas cylinder management
- Greater operational efficiency
Outstanding Mixing Quality
MPS static mixers deliver perfectly homogeneous gas mixtures every time.
The precise mixing process ensures:
- Consistent gas composition
- Reliable repeatability
- Improved process safety
- Maximum operational reliability
T-MIX 1000
The systems with MPS static mixers enable you to prepare ternary (Trimix, Heliair) as well as binary (Heliox, Nitrox) mixtures.
They are easy to install and have enormous advantages to their convenience of use.
Their shape, patented all over the world, guarantees mathematically predictable mixtures (by specific computer software) with a minimum pressure loss.
The mixer is supplied with a solenoid box which must be connected to the compressor. Before reaching the mixer, the oxygen and helium tubes must pass through the solenoid box.
This box contains two solenoid valves normally closed which, once connected to the compressor, open only if the compressor is on.
It prevents accidental access of gas in the tube and stops the gas supply at the end of the refill and the compressor stops.
Even in the event of an emergency stop or in the event of a power cut, the gas supply is stopped and this contributes to the safety of the system.
In the box there is a switch that deactivates the operation of the solenoid valves, thus preventing the supply of gas because the valves remain closed.
Always keep the switch in the off position if we do not have to produce gas mixtures.
The processor is also programmed to stop the Oxygen flow when the percentage of Oxygen rise more than 45% to prevent damage to the compressor due to a work with a too high level of Oxygen.
